Electric Forest 2016

In the weeks leading up to this magical event, the regular forest is completely transformed into a festival wonderland.  Sherwood Forest is at the heart of everything and is something that never fails to leave a lasting impression on everyone who is lucky enough to take a walkabout.  From the lasers and light installations, the many different sculptures and stages, to the amazing hanging lanterns and secret stores, this event is without a doubt one to add to your bucket list.  

This was the second year Grassroots built our dome out in the campgrounds and with it always comes a steady stream of unique individuals coming to check out what we have going on inside.  In addition to having the dome rocking out in GA, we were also set up inside in the Ranch Arena vending area right next to the official merch booth.  Electric Forest is always our biggest event of the year and  we are honored to be able to come out in such a big way.  

Grassroots released an exclusive line at the event. This line included a hat with amazing embroidery work, two shirts made of light biking material with an all over print, and two very limited edition pins. All of these items are apart of our Rothbury Line created by designer, Curt Holzer. This is an amazing line right in time for the summer festival season. All items available on our website so get yours while its HOT!

These were the hats designed for the festival itself. They sold out very quickly but get in line first thing next year to snag your very own! 

We went back to our roots with some renegade late night dome sets provided by our good friends Unlimited Gravity and Project Aspect that when teamed up go by Unlimited Aspect.  Big shoutout to the boys for holding down the late night campground scene and know that we have even bigger plans for next year!

Some of the highlights from the team included both sets by STS9, the Saturday night sets by The String Cheese Incident, Griz, Beats Antique, Bassnectar, and the All Good Records Showcase.  And we can't forget about our Squab boys holding it down out in Sherwood Court!  Everyone always brings their A game to the Forest each year and this year was certainly no different!
