Countdown to 2021: Livestreams & Live Auction
Take yourself back to March: stay at home orders took effect, grocery store shelves were emptied, toilet paper was a scarce resource. We closed our storefronts and went home where we watched music festivals post cancellation announcements, one by one. The most exciting part of our day was 8pm when we flashed our lights in support of frontline workers. Streaming became the best solution to connect with our community and support other artists and small businesses during quarantine, and thus, 2020 became the Year of the Livestream!

Countdown to 2021 with GRC
With 2021 right around the corner, following a long and stressful holiday season, we thought we'd celebrate the New Year with a countdown of livestreams and ring 2021 with a virtual fest! The countdown will include totally new livestreams between Dec 22nd and December 31st featuring new interviews, art, music, infused-cooking classes, and counter-culture entertainment. You might recognize some faces, but we're bringing you totally new streams to brighten your holidays at home. New Year, New Gear: Our First-Ever Live Auction Event!
This all leads up to our New Years Day special: our first ever Live Auction event! Yes, you read that right: LIVE AUCTION! You may be familiar with our Grassroots California Hats for Sale or Trade Group on Facebook where we've posted exclusive sample gear for sale here and there, but this January 1st its all about the New Year, New Gear, baby! Check out the New Year's Day stream to see what samples and exclusive merchandise we'll be auctioning off. Then, hop on Facebook to bid on your faves via the @GrassrootsCalifornia Facebook Page: all profits will benefit the winner's choice of charity!
