Grassroots Chicago is Moving!
New year, new home!
After 3 years of business at 515 N. Halsted, Grassroots Chicago will soon be moving to a new location! Currently nestled in a quiet corner of the West Loop, Grassroots Chicago aims to move to a more central and convenient location in a more popular and artsy neighborhood with better parking.
The move is expected to happen early this Spring and should be a seamless transition. Similar gallery events, parties, and of course, merchandise sales will continue at Grassroots Chicago's new spot, although GRC CHI is looking to collaborate with more local venues, bars, and hot spots for their saucy soirees. With the successes of their parties including the North Coast After-Party "Grassroots After Dark", Halloween Party "Fright Night", and Holiday Charity Benefit "Ugly Sweater Holiday Party", as well as countless Movement Gallery events featuring local and international artists, a space that caters to a longer guest list, bigger dancefloor, and more watts of bass is definitely a priority for the growing small business.
While the current location begins to prepare for the big move, the store is offering a 30% off storewide sale to cleanse their inventory to start fresh when the time comes. Rumor has it, GRC CHI plans to go out with a bang and will host a huge final art sale and going away party when the time comes. In the meantime, Chicago and Midwest fans are encouraged to enjoy the 515 while they still can. This Saturday, for example, is the Movement Gallery's next event, Graffroots, and will feature Chicago's top writers and graffiti artists with a breadth of original work. So come one and come all, GSproutGang, and stay tuned for more info on our big move!
Sooooo where you moving to ?? 😍
