Festival Season With GRC

It's our favorite time of year: the sun is shining, waves crash into sandy beaches, and live music events are back after a year-and-a-half long haitus due to COVID. While many festivals have been delayed or rescheduled, we're committed to vending at a number of our annual faves! Here's where you can catch GRC vending this summer and our best recommendations on where to fest this year!

Aug 19-22: Summer Camp Music Festival, Chillicothe, IL

Since Summer Camp announced their rescheduled dates and the greatest lineup we've seen in a minute, we were onboard to return to our cozy spot in the woods.  It's been our go-to spot for Memorial Day Weekend the last 10 years and we're excited for the August-dates to kick off our festival season in the midwest! Of course we're stoked to see moe. & Umphrey's McGee (per usual), but this SCamp lineup is stacked with their EDM acts too! GRiZ is returning for the first time in 4 years, Boogie T is bringing the live band out for a special Boogie T.rio set. Rezz was given a proper headlining set this year as well as Tipper, who returns to once again melt our ears and faces. Other Grassroots-collab artists we look forward to seeing in action again include Maddy O'Neal, Clozee, Marvel Years, Twiddle, Manic Focus, and The Floozies! Aug 27-28: Kosmic Kingdom, Des Moines, IA

Picture this... a Renaissance Fair meets a music festival, and you get Kosmic Kingdom. The grounds include stages with castle-like motifs, village-like storefronts and vendor booths, and bar patios reminiscent of the middle-ages. The rescheduled 2021 EDM-based lineup featuring two sets of Liquid Stranger, plus LSDream, Rusko, Jantsen, Toadface, Tsuruda, and Yheti. The site's camping next to the venue is pretty spectacular with woods, a river, and lovely grounds, or you can stay in town at a hotel on your own. We'll have all of our freshest gear back in the same spot you saw us in 2019!

Sep 2-5: Bonnaroo Music Festival, Manchester, TN

 

Bonnaroo may be known for its heat, size, and rock and roll lineup but this year, it's also one of the most successful to reschedule! We're honored to return to this mega-fest and have our booth in Center-Roo!  If you haven't heard, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, Tame Impala, Run The Jewels, The Disco Biscuits, Tipper, and Rufus Du Sol are among the top acts this year. We're bringing all the good vibes back down to the Farm this year and hope the later dates are a bit "cooler" than usual!

Sep 17-19: Imagine, Atlanta, GA

If you're looking for an "Aquatic Fairytale", Imagine is the music festival for you! From pool parties to car-camping, this is one of the biggest and best festivals of the season! The festival magic is strong at this event, but this year's 2021 lineup is even stronger! Headlining is Excision, Griz, Illenium, and Kaskade, with support from Subtronics, Gryffin, Riot Ten, and Liquid Stranger. Shpongle is also set to perform with live visuals by GRC partner, Android Jones. Festival passes are looking a little sold out online, but camping and add-ons are still available.

Sep 24-26: Lost Lands Music Festival, Legend Valley, OH

We never thought we'd see dinosaurs again, but Excision and the Lost Lands team have brought the prehistoric world to the festival scene! Not is this festival home to one of the largest stages we've ever been to, the atmosphere at Legend Valley is spectacular. The campgrounds are across the street from the festival with it's own plaza of vendors, food, and music, but the festival grounds are where it's at! This year's event will feature heavy riddim, future bass, and dubstep artists Ganja White Night, Griz, Black Tiger Sex Machine, NGHTMRE, Slander, Liquid Stranger, and Subtronics, just to name a few.
